Hoisin-Based Sauce

Combine all ingredients together to taste. The hoisin provides the base, sesame oil adds depth, honey balances the flavors, and crushed peanuts add texture.
Lemon Juice-Based Sauce
Ingredients
- Lemon juice
- Sesame oil
- Honey
Instructions
- Whisk lemon juice and sesame oil together to create an emulsion.
- Add honey to balance the tartness and create a harmonious flavor.
Notes
Based on this recipe from my old wiki. Both sauces can be adjusted to taste. The hoisin-based sauce is richer and more savory, while the lemon-based sauce is lighter and more refreshing. They’re versatile enough to use with many dishes beyond rice paper rolls.
